Men's Boot Sizing
Most customers order ½ size smaller than their sneaker size for the most comfortable fit — an initially snug feel is the best way to start, as the leather forms to your foot over time.

Order your normal shoe size, or ½ size up for a roomier fit — especially if you plan to wear thicker socks. If you are between sizes, order the larger of the two.

How to Measure
Measure at the end of the day, when your feet are at their largest, and always size for the bigger foot.
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard floor with one edge against a wall.
- Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall and your weight fully on the foot.
- Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall edge to the mark — this is your foot length.
- Repeat for the other foot; they might be different, and the longer measurement wins.
- Leave about a thumb-width of space between your big toe and the front of the boot for the ideal fit.
Foot Length
The most reliable reference. Match your longest-foot measurement to the size tables, then apply the sizing rule for the style you are buying.
Foot Width
Measure across the widest part of your foot while standing. Compare with the width options in the Fit & Width tab to find your match.
Calf Circumference
For taller styles, sit with your knee bent at 90° and wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your calf — snug but not tight — to check shaft fit.
Sock Thickness
Measure wearing the socks you plan to pair with the boots. Thicker boot socks may justify going ½ size up, especially for women's styles.

Leather boots break in — here is what to expect on day one, and how to pick the right width.
The golden rule: your boots should feel snug — but not painful — when new. Quality leather stretches and molds to your feet over the first few wears, so an initially snug fit turns into a custom fit. A boot that fits loose on day one only gets looser.
Men's — Standard Width
Men's sizes are listed in US Men's on our custom "Standard" width, ideal if you normally wear D (average) or E width footwear.
Men's — Wide Feet
Select styles are offered in Wide widths suited to EE or EEE. If the Wide option is unavailable, many customers size up ½ size in Standard; narrow feet (C width) may size down ½ size.
Women's — B Width
Women's sizes run in the standard B width, which fits most feet. Slightly wider feet (C width) can size up ½ size; narrower feet (A width) can size down ½ size.
Construction
Goodyear welt construction, cork-bed midsoles and Poron® insoles mean your boots are water resistant, resoleable, and form to your feet with every wear.
Break-In
Expect a short break-in over the first few wears. Try them indoors on carpet first — if they feel right standing and walking around the house, they will only get better.
